As you probably know I'm a huge fan of these excellent knives, in fact I'd really love to get more than the two I currently have



I think there balance of ergonomics, build and price really is perfect, and the Carbon one's really come into there own as a general bushcraft knife



Any other fans?

I saw and feel in love with the "wasp" blade of the #1. When I finally got one I never had the guts to use it (besides staring at it).

Then Def told me about the Cold Steel version, which a friend had in her knife shop and I got it.
Now I can use it and not worry about destroying it or worse losing it.

I love the design I use it now has my kitchen knife (the CS), it goes back in the sheath and hangs on the hook over the sink.

The Grohmann still sets in it box and gets stared at every now and then, I think I have been neglecting it I need to show it a little attention.

Yes you do need to show it some affection

The CS version does make an excellent kitchen knife, I use one for that purpose and I think Ben does too

Yep.    Works well in the kitchen and takes seconds to put an edge on it.

I know I should.    Part of the problem is I never really need a fixed blade knife for anything.  If I did some overnight wilderness camping I probably would take it along.  Usually I can get by with a strong, lighter folder.

Then you need to put yourself in a really dangerous situation it justify taking it then

I really liked your #4, it was pretty much perfect for bushcraft etc. The buffalo was finished brilliantly as well which totally does it for me
