I think the ST300 should be the same thickness as the ST200
That's what I think as well Bob. And the ST200 was a fat old tool.

So am I right in thinking what you gents would really prefer is an original Super Tool, but with rocker arm blade locks? (In other words, a Super Tool 300 without the rolled handle edges)
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

:tu: Since I carry the original everyday without problems I wouldn't see a problem :D

Not at all! Rolled handle edges are a necessity on all modern tools!  :)

+1 I find the original Supertool much more comfortable to use than say, the Blast.  I admit the PST was a real pain though.

No problems with the Original here either.  I find that the tools in each handle actually make it a flat-ish and comfortable grip.

I personally think the ST200/Core/ST300 are wide so you can access the implements with gloves on.  :)

It does help. I hope that it will be even easier with the cutouts for the large blades.

Talk about things coming full circle, For years I carried and loved the Supertool then discovered the Swiss Tool and since it was a Vic I got rid of the Super and starting carrying the Swiss Tool.

Then along came the Spirit which made me retire the Swiss Tool.  Now I rediscovered the Kick and put the Spirit down. I am looking forward to the Supertool 300 I like the looks, the features.   (Am I fickled?)  ::)

Dealers are supposed to get a blast email with ordering info and that hasn't happened yet so I'm guessing a month or more away is still looking likely.

If Leatherman employees in fact reads these boards, they will know without a doubt what we think about their current sheaths!

If they went through the trouble to update an older model, I'd really like to see them issue it with a quality sheath like the original Super Tools.

I'm still curious about blade length. I sent Leatherman customer service an email a couple of weeks ago but haven't heard anything. I really hope it's under three inches.

I doubt it :-\ Probably go in a ST200 leather sheath :D but if you think tracking down the original SuperTool leather sheath is hard just wait and try to find 1 of those on Ebay :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :D Who knows it might squeeze in there since it won't have the rocker locks  I hope so anyway ;)
