Derailing again: did you know there is also a DKPK, with a shorter blade and a hollow spydie hole, to comply to Danish legislation? (Allan?) I just found out...

Yes, but the danish retailer I contacted won't import them anymore, because they might can be opened with one hand after all...  :P

I wonder if he had the same problems atht Ben had recently, and seems to have affected some UKPK imports?

Well, after a day's playing with my new toy, all I can say is that I was right and Ben was wrong  :P

This thing is friggin' awesome, and over-priced or not - I couldn't be happier with it :)

I never said it wasn't a good knife, just that I thought it was overpriced (and you haven't disagreed with me) and that I would prefer the Urban.  As you only have the UKPK you don't have an Urban to compare so I may still be right after all.  :P :D

.... yet ....... :D

Although, I actually can't see how any improvement could be possible in a (UK legal) knife tbh. It really is, exactly what I was after. The price was actually pretty reasonable too (it was a gift :D).

I think I made the right choice with the Foliage green scales too - a bit less "in your face" than the Orange.

I have the exact same one Dave and it's the perfect EDC knife IMO, never leaves my side really.

Glad you're happy with it mate  :tu:

The green is nice but part of me still fancies some orange.  I got mine when you could have it in any colour, so long as it was black  :-\   Still the black is OK as well :)

Any road, glad you're liking it Dave :tu:

And you could use a Sharpie to add in the black strips.  :D

I do kind of like the orange, but as this is going to be my "take everywhere and use it without fear of arrest" knife, I thought it might be better to go with something discreet. Plus, it matches my walking trousers :D

Do it. There was a guy selling some G10 on British Blades recently I think. Some MOP and Titanium too!

There's some good info on the site and I have on occasion lurked around but (probably just me) there seems to be a bit of an "edge" to the place that makes me not want to join in. Too many tensions?

I guess I'm spoiled by MT.O   Lets face it, does anyone know of a friendlier forum than this? I don't.
