RAT Cutlery changes name/ And new knives!

RAT Cutlery changed their name to ESEE Knives...mainly to avoid confusion between the RAT models Ontario put out and Swamp Rat knives, and probably a half dozen other "Rat" branded things.  There's a press release on www.ratcutlery.com if you want to read the official statement.

But the most important thing is...new knives!...and Arrowheads

This is a Imacasa/Condor blade that was sent up here to America and finished a little better with a convex edge and micarta handles.


And the oddity...a survival arrowhead.  2.5" long.


If anyone out there has an Izula and always wanted micarta scales...

To keep in a survival kit...instant spear.  Well almost instant, lash one to a pole (or better yet two arrowheads) and you've got a frog gig, fish spear, you can use it in a deadfall trap to pin or kill whatever you catch...
