Nice Military TS. Its my favorite folder.

Mine too, let's see some pictures.

Here is one of my Millie's.

Nice Harley.  How many Militarys do you have?
I carry mine most days.

Five, but three new ones that I want are coming out soon plus I still need to find a Ti Millie.

One of my favorites, Cruwear with custon linen micarta scales.

David hit it right on C47S Endura.

From you Cappy, I don't understand what you mean?

I bought this one new many years ago.

I want a Delica. Then a Military, then a Manix 2.

The Delica 4 is a must in my opinion. The Military is awesome, but only offers tip down so I go for the Paramilitary II. If that does not bother you then you get the extra length of the Military which is nice. I'm personally not a fan of the Manix, but the majority love it.

Just received this one, and thought you guys would like to see pics.
Text is from the Spyderco online catalogue.

One of the most popular and in-demand folding knives ever created, the Para Military 2 distills the performance and reliability of the Military™ Model into a more compact, pocket-friendly format.
It also adds the advantage of Spyderco’s patented Compression Lock™ mechanism—a high-strength lock that allows the knife to be closed one handed without placing your fingers in the path of the edge.

This elite version of the Para Military 2 supercharges its advanced design with a full-flat-ground blade crafted from Crucible’s CPM® S110V—a state-of-the-art stainless tool steel produced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process.
CPM S110V’s high volume of vanadium and niobium alloys give it exceptional wear resistance, while its enhanced chromium content makes it extremely corrosion resistant.

Like all our knives with CPM S110V blades, the textured G-10 handle scales of this version of the Para Military 2 sport a distinctive dark blue color.
They are also home to a four-position hourglass clip that supports left and right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.

Specifications:

Length overall: 209 mm
Blade length: 87 mm
Blade steel: CPM S110V
Length closed: 122 mm
Cutting edge: 77 mm
Weight: 108 grams
Blade thickness: 3.70 mm
Handle material: G-10

I also did not fall in love with the M2.

I find it hard to close one handed but hopefully it will break in at some point. Still want to see if loosening the pivot helps.

As far as the Millie, honestly I don't care if it is tip up or down. Either way is easy to open one handed with little fuss.

Have you checked out the translucency of the blurple G 10 yet on that Para 2. It is pretty neat and I plan to get one once the fever dies down.

My Manix 2 XL broke in nicely despite arriving stiff. I can now disengage the lock with just the thumb on my right hand while gripping the knife with the remaining fingers and it's not difficult at all. I did tweak the pivot slightly so that the blade still has no play, but drops freely when the lock is disengaged. I recommend adding a drop of lubricant to the lock spring to help it break it. Saw that recommended elsewhere and it seemed to help with mine. Then sit in front of your fave TV show and work the lock mechanism and/or open/close the knife repeatedly.

It's definitely no Axis lock out of the box, but the spring is more confidence inspiring than the ones in my Benchmades (never had one break yet though).

Good to know.

I saw one with the translucent blue handle in a gun shop few weeks ago, not cheap, but within reach, which hugely surprised and haunted me since....
Honestly never thought I's see a USA-made Spyderco for a price I'm willing to pay. 8)

Nice Knife Harley!

Thanks, the blade is in rough shape though. Thinking about sending it back to the SFO to see if they can fix it up. They did a good job on my SE Millie that had a broken tip and some other dings.

I am hoping mine breaks in at some point. Plan to oil it and mess with the pivot this weekend.

I should just get me a Grip.

It is a production model that just came out. S110V blade and according to Spyderco dark blue G 10 scales. They have a bit of a blue purple hue to them depending on the light.

Bit of a hassle finding them in stock atm but the buying frenzy will die down at some point and since they are a production model not a sprint they are not going anywhere.
