I was already planning how I was going to remove the shoulders off the hollow grind of my Pac Salt using the Lansky diamond stones........now it seems I'll need to source one elsewhere.  :oops:

Every day with the Salt 1 has me more convinced.........

I have a Spyderco question.

I saw an old spyderco worker with SE. The handlematerial was black with white inlays (maybe mother of pearl).

I didn’t found more informations about it. I didn’t by it so I have no pictures.

I also saw in this shop a police with engraved handles.

Are these original Spydercos or are they custom knives?

I don't know for certain. I'm sure that there are people who customize Spydercos.

However, Sprderco does occasionally do special production runs, sometimes called "sprint runs" of variations of their knives. I imagine you saw some of those special variations. So they may not be standard models, but still be Spyderco factory knives.  :cheers:

(I'm hoping to go to the Spydie factory later this Spring.)

Today I can finally post here. Have been carrying the Compact but haven't used any of the tools (other than the ocasional hook) so I decided to try something smaller. Spyderco Grasshopper. Great slicer and the blade is not much smaller than a 91mm SAK.
