Roadie  :tu:

That one awlways looked strange to me. How is it in terms of OHO and in use? It's not very big, is it?

Nice !   :tu:
How do you like it ?

It's good. Initially I thought it would feel too small but, in use, it's great and well designed to fit in the hand. It only gets used for opening letters and the like, but it would work well with paracord and most things that an SAK blade would cut  :tu:

And it's a slippie.

Just saw a review on it. It's minute! Don't get the hole in the blade. Better to make it on the front "dimples". Other than that, not a bad knife to EDC.

Never owned a Spyderco, but have wanted one since building the power plant in Golden Colorado back in the late 90's.  Not sure why I never bought one back then. Anyway, I just got a gift card and was looking at a Tenacious and a Delica on Amazon. Then searched Tenacious here on MTO and this popped up. Had to compliment powernoodle on such a great collection!

Sharpen a knife?  I thought you had to buy a new one when the old one went dull.  That's why I have so many.  Dang it!   :dunno:

Works for me.

Neglected to post this here:

I own just one Spyderco:

Bought it in either '01 or '02 after a friend who got heavily into Spyderco knives convinced me to buy one.
Am slightly embarrassed to admit its lived in box all this time; I can't recall ever carrying it or using it.

Probably, which seems a shame but there's not much you can do with knives like these in the UK.  I am, however, a Scout Leader and my troop does a lot of hiking, pioneering and camping so I frequently travel with SAKs and Leathermans.  Just haven't taken this one and a coupe of other lock blade knives out as  those a legally a little dodgier, I think, and I'm always worried that grubby little Scout paws will get their hands on one in the split-second when my attention is elsewhere and inadvertently carve up one of their mates...

Regarding tools, you have to go with what works for you.

Regarding scouts getting their hands on knives, here we teach them beginning at about eight years old how to properly and safely handle, use, and care for knives.  After that, they are free to carry their pocket knives to Scout meetings and events (but not school), though this privilege can be revoked if they are observed violating the rules they have been taught or otherwise behaving unsafely with their knives.

Also, if you carry the knife on your person, it is going to be difficult for anyone else to get it without your awareness…

Oh, for sure: we drill our Scouts in knife safety a number of times a year (had a session just last week) and most of them listen carefully and are eager for the opportunity and responsibility.  But...  There are always one or two of them that don't quite get with the programme and who you're loathe to trust with a sheath, let alone an actual knife...

This vintage Clipit Dragonfly must be the oldest Spydie I still have in my rotation. The clip broke off a decade ago, and what used to be Spyderedge is now Plain Edge. Lost too many teeth cutting off rope and wire that was stuck in the lawn mower...

I only have 2. Good knives and all but I just can’t get that exited about them.
The Bug and Vallotton Sub-Hilt:

I like the Bug since it is very small. The Vallotton has certain gents folder charm with the ugly clip binned and it is solid but rather heavy.

I’ve seen pics of Damascus Delica, very nice pattern and have wondered about Civilian, so maybe I’ll pull the trigger on more Spydercos on the future

Another oldie still in rotation, Delica from the 90s in ATS-55. Carried in pocket without the clip a while, that's why the clip doesn't look worse than this. Still probably the best allround pocket knife, due to size/weight/operation.
