Well, as lame as it sounds, I have to say that I think you should go. Learning how the animals you share your space with communicate can only help your understanding of them, and make it easier to live with them. And, since the budgies aren't going anywhere, learning to co-exist isn't such a bad idea, n'est pas?Def

LOL Paul, I think you've got it about right@ Grant. You do have a point with dogs of course, but budgies ... I think I'd just end up feeling cheep
Unlike wives, birds make sense and can be understood.... Def
F@~kin Nutter!!
I agree on "paper" it's a good idea to know and understand your pets, friends, animals as best as you can.but it does sound a bit "emasculating" and not something most he-men/guys would care to do! Does Sue attend your MT/Blade meets? Does she "try" to understand your passion for tools? if yesmaybe you owe her and should share her passions too, only fair. If she doesn't then "one" person in the house who understands the furry dinosaurs seems quite enough!
Show her your full support, Ben... It's the only right thing to do, no matter what you think of her doings..
I find whispering to birds usually end's up with me getting a slap
