Returning to the beginnings, ha? :D And CyberCompact is a better name for it than CyberTool 28. :tu:

This should be a popular mod. :2tu:

According to the Victorinox tool list, it would be more like a Cybertool 25, since it is missing 4 tools from the Cybertool 29.  ;)

    small blade
    small screwdriver
    reamer
    sewing eye

Regardless, it's a beautiful mod!  :tu:

Coincidentally, I finally bought a used Cybertool 29 for a decent price from ebay today.  Even the used Cybertools seem to command a high price most of the time.

That but in black was GigaHz' first mod two years ago. He called it CT 28 back then so I was referring to that. :D

Some how I got 28 at the time. I will have to look into that. I just picked up a CT34 for $23. I thought it was 2 years ago.

It hasn't arrived but this. Got it for $10.50 shipped.
Got a BNIP one last week for $18 shipped. Probably gonna sell this one to my buddy, for like $20.
Hobb needs to pay for it's self.

Picked up another couple SAKs today. Not sure what the big one is. It is ALMOST a climber.

The only thing it's missing is a phillips screwdriver which I use often. But it's only going to be a backup in my EDC back as my Leathermans do all the heavy lifting on a day to day basis.

It was too cheap to pass up so couldn't get picky about the phillips screwdriver.

Got yourself a very nice old style Climber there, without the hook, and with the grooved corkscrew. Sak wiki says the groove style corkscrew was discontinued in 1991.

I want things in bulk. The only place on this side of the pond to get whole sale scales is a place called centralvalley something or other. Get new pull off scales for little more than $3 a pair shipped. Every time they post Ruby plus scales (which has been a minute) I always have to jump on a few pairs...

Guessing getting SAK scales in EU is probably a little easier???

My latest SAKs are... a damaged, empty envelope with missing contents :(

Somewhat. This came straight from my local distributor. Depends if they have them in stock. If yes, I can get them the next day, if not they have to order it from Vic Switzerland and it can take a few weeks. They didn't have black 91mm Plus scales nor red 84mm so I had to wait for them and the special bits for the Cybertool. Only 6 sets are mine. Just helping out a friend who helped me. :tu:

Hope it wasn't something rare or very, very pricey. :-\

Nice one Zoli, I've been trying to get to Budapest for over a year to buy them for Karl but nothing came up and making a 300km trip just for 3 SAKs is a bit too much, even for me. :D

Reinier, sad to hear that, hopefully you were insured?

:mail:  in today's mail is a swissChamp that I got on ebay for $26.  the only negatives are the pen is missing, and the front scale has "Marcus" on it.  (I am putting Camo scales on it anyway)
I love that it has the older mag glass and longer phillips
