The black is pretty nice  :tu:.  I guess with Enki and Microbe and all their black I eventually had to see what it was all about.

The a Delux Tinker is a really great SAK! Is there anything on the right hand scale?

A nice old Spartan (or Standard) arrived today.

It has all these neat old-skool features like...
VICTORIA tang stamp

5 Turn Corkscrew

Clip point small blade

Nickel-Silver shield

Seeing it lacks the +PAT stamp on the opener and a bail I'm guessing late 60's to early 70's.

Blades appear to have factory edge, looks like its been carried a lot more than it was ever used.

got a mid 1980's (ish?) Ranger.  needs a real good cleaning, but it was only $5.  I thought I was buying a Mountaineer, but I guess the ebay seller did not open a few tools!      oh well, good price still, and I did not have one of these.
If I can help, let me know

agreed,  but it is super gritty and sounds like super fine sand is behind every spring.  but I can take care of that with some time and effort
