I went to an outdoor store here today with the intent of buying a new SAK.  This place only stocks Wengers, and had a good selection.  I was thinking about a Ranger, but upon handling it for about 10 seconds I put it right back.  A lefty can't get to the hole in the blade because the bottle opener blocks it!  >:(  I did, however, leave there with a Wenger Tradesman.  No pics yet, but very cool.  It's an 85mm Deluxe Tinker!  Classic scales, not Evo, too.  :tu:

On the three layer versions it can just about be done but it's never easy or comfortable.  It's the main reason I swapped my Ranger with Jie.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Two more SAKs arrived today.  :mail:  First up is not exactly new to me.  It's been around here before, but when it left for West Virginia it was red, and it's come back yellow!   ;)

Was an Explorer Plus when it left, no pen now.  That's fine with me, the yellow scales are just sweet!  :tu:

Next up is a monster - the Wenger Tool Chest Plus....

Only 85mm long...but about 40mm wide!   :o VERY cool, I actually pocket carried and used it a bit at work today....Here's a shot that will give you an idea just how massive this thing is.

Three Wengers and a returned Vic in less than a week!
There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D

I just got my Wenger Rangerwood 55 from Felinevet Tim :sak:

Just got a Nylon scaled Recruit from DeezNittles today  :mail: One day with it and I can already say that the 84mm frame is amazing!!! It's a small difference, but I already prefer it to my 91mm SAK.

Just in from Europe by way of Canada: Limited edition 2012.

I'm particularly fond of the yellow, blue and red Classic ('Yustaposed'). Has a very Alexander Calder feel to it.

I was thinking about getting the Maze one; so are those really red toothpicks they are packin'?

Never noticed the red toothpics!

Now, how about some nice limited edition 74mm designs? Victorinox are you listening?

BTW I think it's actually the tweezers that are red.

Eight of the ten have red tweezers, the other two are standard grey. I was so busy cross-checking handles, names, and numbers I didn't notice.

Red Toothpicks would have been cool, but tweezers are good too.  I have to buy some now just for SAKwiki pictures; an excuse I use a lot.

This morning I got a call from the manager of a hardware store I do business with at work.  He knows I like to raid his knife display case occasionally, my first two Case slippies actually came from this store.  He told me he had one OH Trekker left in stock, and if I wanted it, he'd give me a nice break.  It ended up costing me $21.40, new in the box.  :tu:  This is the third Trekker, and fourth OH Vic I've owned.  I keep trading them away for some reason despite the fact that they're so lefty friendly.  Let's see if this one sticks around a bit.....

Wow!  Great price!  Even I'd go for one at that price, and I really dislike the liner locks on the OH models...

Didn't want to start a new thread for this question but, what's a electrician plus worth? I have a nib one that I'm planning on selling or tearing apart but want advise first.

Yes alox with saw. Perfect condition. New never used. The box is a little off but the tool is flawless.

I probably couldn't afford it but if you ever decide to sell this one I would really appreciate a shot at it. That Woodsman is awesome. I would be better looking and twice as cool if it were mine.
