Props Robert, you do some fine modding!

That there is a real beauty!!    Great picture too!

Congradulations, I'm sure glad that one was not lost.

It's a great time to get a Custom SAK (or 2).

I sort of gave it to my wife but now she wants to use it :P
That's great!  You're a lucky man! Using SAKs bring more happiness. The more she uses it the more she'll be OK with your collection.  More hapiness for her and more hapiness for you.   :drink:

Congratulations Aloha! Alox are really cool, it was one of my first SAKs, my father gave me a soldier 94 when I was young, and has been one of my favorites together with the Wenger Seafarer that I also got from him...  :tu:

Now prepare your wallet for the limited editions!

thank you.  i love hearing about how SAKs are passed on from parents to their children.  what great memories you must have to hold the soldier and seafarer.  im hoping my SAKs and MTs find a place in my childrens treasured items.

It's not exactly new, but I cannibalized a poor, unwary Adventurer to fix my seen-things-no-knife-should-ever-have-to-see Outrider. It's the only user I have that was actually a gift from someone, so it was worth sacrificing another knife to get it fixed. It turns out replacing the missing slide-lock and putting on a fresh set of factory scales has made it feel like a new knife.

This might just take over again as my EDC when I'm not teaching.

(p.s. - Bad picture! It doesn't really do the knife justice. It has some epic scarring on the back of the liners, not to mention a blade so scuffed you can barely see my initials on it anymore.)

I was fortunate to find a lone CH Solo at Tim in January so I'd say they are not impossible to find:

Speaking of Elinox Solos here is an unusual one in 84mm red alox. It is an 84mm solo blade red alox knife in the style of a Pocket Pal type knife. It only has the one blade and is marked Elinox on the front with the regular Victorinox tang stamp on the back.
