I just won this puppy on the Bay. WOOT! I thought I'd never run into one of these! SO EXCITED!

Nice.  Not sure if you're planning on using it or not, but the Electrician Plus is a great working SAK, even better than the Farmer in some regards.

Most likely not going to use it. I have a couple of Harvesters, and one of them gets used sometimes when I go out with the wife to some function and and up carving on someone's back porch. This Electrician plus is one that I've been searching for for a bit, so it's likely just going into the collection catalog for admiration and indoor play.

Now that production has ended, I am trying to pick up a few more while they are still available (don't worry, these are not from a country you live in) :

I now have 8 NIB, that is for much more than enough, lol.

If anyone in the USA needs one, it can be yours at my cost ($26 usd), I think I can part with a few to a good home.

Oh wow...I've never seen that box before. I knew the Swiss Army 70 came in different packaging, but that's a surprise. Nice scores!

My orange cadets arrived in the mail.    :D  My first Alox SAKs and I can see the appeal of these things!  They just feel great in the hand and exude quality.  That being said, I still am not sure if I will carry this (along with a Manager on my keyring) as my EDC or if I will stick with my current Manager/Small Tinker combo, which is working quite well.  I'm afraid I will miss the second blade on the Tinker which I find very useful, and the nail file is covered by the Manager.  Still, the Cadet just disappears so nicely in the fifth pocket of my jeans.  Decisions...

Cadet for sure, the blade on the manager can be the second blade, and the nail file on the cadet is much easier to use than the manager.

Be careful, you have already caught the pox.  Your cadet will soon begat any number of aloxi.  Hehe

Good points.

LOL, I purchased my first SAKs only about a month ago, and so far I have accumulated a Super Tinker, Tinker, small Tinker, Classic SD, Rambler, Midnite Manager (decided the Red light was useless so I mish moshed the 58mm into a Manager), and the 2 orange Cadets.  Where does it end?  (Don't answer that...)

I'm not sure it ends, you will end up starting to pick up some of the more feature rich ones soon enough.  A tip- if you are a fleabay watcher, unless you can get cool celidor models for ~$5 incl shipping, you might want to go for a larger lot and try your luck.  Having a bunch of saks to clean/sharpen/play with is fun.

Or, focus on what you think is best and spend a few extra bucks getting the correct one stock.  Mods are great and all, but if you can get it stock, go for it (the +B Yeoman being an example).  If you are a modder, and the tools and know how it is another story.

And instead of going for fancy limited edition colored alox, get a cheaper silver one and play around with metallic nail polish.  I am not kidding, this way you can have fun with different colors AND have a user rather than expensive shelf queen/investments.  Cadet/Pioneer/Farmers are super (and you should get one of each), be happy with them + a manager/classic/rambler for a while.

It might be best to stay away from fleabay, if you are even a little OCD it becomes an obsession as you can find interesting things if you know where to look and spend the time.  Interesting things you didn't know that you must have before you found them.

Time is money, hehe.

Thank you Colt.  Now I can place this somewhere between 68-75 if the blade has not been replaced!  Thanks again.

I´m glad I could find this one, was looking for it for some time, there are some small black spots on the scales but overall is in pretty good shape.

Got the '94 solid rivet Soldat, and a couple more back ups. The one on top with the lanyard is my carry piece. Finally completed that collection.

I'd say early 1960s - circa 1962-1963.

That's a great pickup. Watch those old blue scales - some of them can be very strange. There's something about some - not all, but some - of them that likes to tarnish the nickel-silver inlays. They also will deteriorate and fall apart. This is not all of them mind you - I have several old blue Fishermen that are fine. But I've picked up three old knives with blue cellidor scales (two Fisherman and one Elinox Spartan) that destroyed their inlays and eventually disintegrated. You could polish the inlay and within a month it'd be black again.

Thank you jazzbass, is it from 60's? Hope mine is the one that does not fall apart :)
