i got mine here http://www.filofiel.com/

Those guys seem to have the book The knife and its history for only €20 :ahhh

That's a great price.  :o  They also have the green Victorinox molle sheath, the black 125 Anniversary scaled SAKs, and red and black Pioneers, still, too. :tu:

Yes, but I believe several of the SAKs you mention are actually out of stock... The black edition Climber is still there, though :gimme:

Victorinox 2071g

Rest is not idleness,
and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day,
listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky,
is by no means a waste of time

Nothing quite so special as most of the beauties I see here, but I also bought myself (and my sons) a new SAK  ;).

I bought two "First SAK's" for my sons, see pic below.

And one 111 mm Soldier for me  :D.

That's the fancy pants version :D

You can get them with nylon scales in small boxes, translucent in normal boxes and then the fancy pants version with all the trimmings.

I heard a rumour they were getting tricky to obtain but they still seem to be plenty available in Europe at least.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I think you can use them to tie the kids up outside the pub when you go 'shopping'  :salute:

Blast, can't get the pic to imbed! Woohoo! It worked!

These have shown up in the past two weeks:

'10 Soldier, Outrider, Alox Bantam, and OHT. LOVE the 111mm's, the OHT has been my go-to work knife since it arrived. Gotta love the lefty-friendly locks  :tu:!

The latest special run of Alox is a little different.  I'd still like to see the two small blade in a single layer and the reamer retained, but this is a very nice knife with the two small blades;  not to mention the orange Alox.

How are you liking the SI mate?  I'm nothing like the alox fanboy that some folks are, but even I've got to admit that it's a very good pocket knife.

If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?
