In the bug special of Mythbusters, Tory, Grant and Kari order a case of maggots for an experiment.  When they open the case of approximately 5000 larvae, Tory says "This would be like a buffet for Bear Grylls!"

No bullsmurf-----What I learned from Hood's Woods, is that you can eat grubs/larve/maggots that are in rotten wood.  The trick is to cook the wiggle out of them.  And they kinda taste like greasey almonds.  Still, lots of protien :tu:
