Mozilla Firefox 4 now available for download

Haven't tried it yet but by the looks of it and considering it's from Mozilla, I think I'll like it.

It is waaaay better than 3.6.x. I've been using 4.0 since 4.0 beta 2. IMO, it took too long for the final version to be released, though.

I started with the beta some two months ago and it's great, runs much faster than the 3,6 one and is compatible with all the plugins I used on the old version.

FF4 is too much like Chrome, in my opinion, but I don't mind the massive speed boost; now it's comparable to Chrome in speed, from what I can tell.

I also need to point out the IE9 is now available, too; granted, I just downloaded it to patch whatever security holes were patched since IE8, but oh well, not like I'll ever use it, anyway.

On a side note I just downloaded FF4 (Firefox, not Final Fantasy).

I've been using FF4 Beta for a few months now and the only issue I've had is that FireFTP wasn't compatible with it.  I don't have a lot of extra plugins other than that and AdBlock so I really can't comment on any others, but I like it a lot.

I went to the "about Mozilla Firefox" and it said  "Mozilla/5.0" but I guess that
is actually something else perhaps.  Anyhow will take a look at the update.

After some fiddling, I managed to get all of my Firefox 4 controls onto one row situated in the top bar of the window.

Now that's compact.

Also, really silly as the address bar and tabs are fighting each other for space   Maybe I need to reduce the size of the Opera FireFox button to free up more room.

So far, FF4 isn't bad.  However, I'm too entrenched in Google's camp to switch away from Chrome at this point...having a CR-48 kind of limits you in that manner.
