My inner boy racer / ricer just kicked in ‘yo....harder than VTEC just kicked in ‘yo!

I am totally the fast and the furious with these, because I live my life a quarter mile at the time!

Got me some overnight parts from japan!!

Next up, I gonna order me some T66 turbos....with NAAWS! ...and a motec system exhaust!

Because this is about race wars!!!

Gotta watch that “danger to manifold” warning ...so my floorpan won’t fall off!

I’ll be lucky if that double shot of NAAWS doesn’t blow the welds on the intake!

MONICA!!!!!

Just kidding! ...I wanted to upgrade the reverse lights with LEDs for better visibility, and I want to get rid of some old and ugly aftermarket auxiliary lights mounted on the back of my Jeep too, just to go for a more clean look.

Also want to change the interior dome lights to white LEDs to get rid of that ugly yellowish light the factory halogen bulbs give.

....oh yeah and the gas struts for tailgate needs replacing too.

Great finds, Greg!  :like:
Did you get them from a seller in New Jersey?

Got lucky and bought some real jewels(for great prices) from the Jersey seller. A Mint FPR V.1 MP, NIB BO V.1(with incorrect nail nicks) MP, NIB BO V.2 MP, mint BO V.3 small pivot MP, good condition MP400 T3, NIP MP600 T3, and NIP MP700 T3. Tis' a good time to buy Gerbers for sure.

Probably.  Dino ?  He had some great older Gerbers, but postage to Oz for single tools is a killer these days, so I'm not buying like I used to.

Dino indeed. He doesn't seem to know a lot about the tools themselves, but he had some of the best prices I've ever seen on old Gerbers.

I would imagine postage is obscene for shipping US to AU. Was he able to at least combine the shipping for you?

Yep, I wouldn't have bought them otherwise.  I made him an offer which included $50 postage (medium flat rate box from the US to Oz) for the 8 tools which he accepted.  He did have quite a good assortment of older Gerbers, some of which you don't see that often these days.

Very good! I had been eyeballing the lot of V.1s, but I'm glad you got it. I just don't have room for that many of the same tool(not to mention the Christmas bonus was almost depleted). I think it was a great investment for sure.  :)

The V.1 BO, which is identical to an FPR, was my favorite from him. Oh, and of course, the T3 MP700 is a looker.

The worrying news is that USPS have just told me that the package with the tracking number recorded on ebay is currently in Japan - AFAIK packages going from the US to Australia usually go direct, not via Japan.  I've sent the seller a msg asking for confirmation of the tracking number, so we'll see what transpires.

Oh crap. :ahhh
Perhaps you could call USPS and find out if Japan is a new transfer point or if Japan is just where the aircraft with your package is held over?

In the past USPS have refused to deal with me as a the recipient, they said they'll only talk to the sender. But previously whenever there has been a problem they have consistently refused to acknowledge it, even when it is the sender asking about an insured, tracked, priority package.  Worst case scenario is I claim a refund if the package isn't delivered to me.

I sure hope it doesn't come to that. If it is any consolation, Dino did get all of my purchases correct.

I've just had an update from USPS claiming that my package is now in Australia, so I guess I'll find out if it really is here sometime next week.  But I'm still confused about it going via Japan.  ???

Seems like good news to me.  :woohoo:

It was probably just an out-of-the-normal transfer in Japan. I've had several packages go to South America, from the U.K. before, heading north to the US. :dunno:
