Exactly! :tu:

Plus working on ones own car is not only a good way of getting your mind off things and surprisingly satisfying, but also a good way of getting to know ones car better and understand it better, a great learning experience, which also gives a good overall knowledge of cars.

Especially helpful, if you have to take it to a garage to have some bigger jobs done to it, then you can explain it a lot better to the mechanic and thereby also prevent yourself from getting ripped off.

This has always been a big problem, not just with cars but also with IT. If they sense that you don’t know what you are talking about or don’t have much knowledge with in the field, they just see $dollar signs$ and flock at one like vultures!

Having worked in IT myself for over 10 years, I see this waaaaayyyy too often.

Sad world we live in!

don’t always get the best job from them

Found a Toolzall Pocket Pro (Mini Bear Jaws made for Crescent) for $5, plus $6 shipping, and couldn't pass it up. The seller had a few Imperial knives I could have bought alongside them to help soften the shipping cost, but I didn't need any more of those little cheap celluloid scaled giveaway knives.  I looked at my meager bank statement this month, and noticed I'd managed to spend $70 less! So, I decided to reward myself.

Seller's Photos.

I don't have anything on the way but Mrs. TJ did ask when I stopped at Starbucks to get her something 'what did you get now?'..  :ahhh
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Yes! It's confirmed. Tonight these will arrive. I got them for 125 USD. Don't know about your market but here in Sweden it's a very good price.
