Just picked up a few Wenger Wood 02s. They seem to models that will not be carried over.
Lurking with a large collection of sharp knives!

Must have  :D
EvoGrip™ Swiss Clipper

+1

Good to see there will be a Delémont version, best clipper I ever had. It lives on my travel bag and a little beat up, but some love there for sure. Mine is AT version so I always have it.  :tu:

(have to apologize again for my really poor iPad camera)
I totally agree :2tu: For that very reason I was saying "must-have"  :D
You have great piece of ntsa-proof version there :D  :tu:

I recently got a hold of the "elusive" Rangergrip 88 rescue, and it is impressive. I have a Victorniox Workchamp XL, and this thing is even more imposing (though thankfully narrower). The only thing I'd change on this one, is the thickness of the scales. They make the knife unnecessarily thick.

I ordered it from this place in the Czech Republic http://outdoor.online-sport.cz/noze-wenger/rangergrip-serie/wenger-rangergrip-88-rescue/ (the communication and transaction with them was excellent). I paid a total of $146 with shipping (the shipping hiked up the price a bit. It was around $20-$25), though the price has gone up and down quite a lot since I bought it. It was by far the cheapest place I could find, though right after my purchase the price went up. As I write this I checked again, and it's gone down to (almost) what I paid for it. I was tempted to get the rangergrip 90, because well, it's just easier to get, but the lack of the screwdriver/cap lifter, and half-sized metal saw/file made me wait for the 88. Hope this helps.

Here`s a patriotic wenger knife from WWI.

Could someone tell me who the guys are on the scale? One is marked with George V, the guy on the right could be nikolaus II.

George V would have been George the 5th, King of England at the time of WW1.

Muchas gracias  :tu:

Thats what i paid with shipping for my ranger 90 so you got a nice price for it. I can tell you, just so you know, the short file might be short but works great, i have cut and filed many metal things with it, its more comfortable to use than it seems and still looks new, never tried the large one though.

That store has a really nice stock, if things in my country get any better (we have a lot of restrictions for buying things outside now) ill might ask you for help contacting them since i couldnt understand half a word there  :D

Nice find! At a guess the one in the middle might be Georges Clemenceau, president of France.

Actually I think it's Raymond Poincare.  Whoever it is, that's a neat knife for sure.  :tu:

Think you might be right.

Any ideas on the one on the reverse? Don't think its Kitchener.

Victor Emmanuel III perhaps?   Would make sense with the 1915 date on the scale, that's when Italy joined the war on the Allied side.  It's definitely not Kitchener.

Hi, firends.
Here my last knifes. The first knife is made by means of a known Russian forum of guns.ru,
prepared a series of knifes with a farewell inscription of "Le demier de Wenger" (Farewell, Wenger)
It was possible to choose any wenger model and then the engraving became.

I looked at the collection and I found that there is no Wenger knife at me with Combo Tool. It was necessary to buy Wenger Classic (6.54.01)
