I received my gift from Grant today.

Excellent!

I thought it would take a lot longer than that- once again I am very happy to be proven wrong, although I am sorry it didn't get there in time for Christmas!

I hope you like it!  :D

Today was long and the work was hard.
Got home after midnight, missioned out to the letterbox and found two packages, one for girls and one for me.
Finally, it has arrived! This is going to be... wait, what, oh no. Nooooooooo!

I'm sorry to see that Zoidberg!  I have had that happen before, I shipped a Wave in a sturdy box with lots of tape and it arrived with a hole torn in the box and no wave.

Well that really sucks! Damn postals everywhere are really bad at not taking care of packages. You would think since they get paid decent that would take a little care of things.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

Oouch, that's bad luck.. :-\
But from my point of view it's still up to the sender to make ensure the package is securely closed/properly taped up.. None of us would ever send an open postcard with a $100 bill attached just with a paperclip either.
The postal service delivers millions packages each month and is in fact doing a pretty good job imo, so let's not pin this accident on them entirely..
In April I recieved an envelope from a local danish seller where the tool was missing. Luckily the postal service found it and
delivered it to me a month later: Click :salute:

those little sharpeners aren't bad. I got a gerber one recently, which I know don't have the best rep, but I managed to get a SAK hair popping sharp with it.

Zed mate, it is what it is. What matters to me is that you did send it. Your good thoughts and actions are what I appreciate and they arn't lost. Asking you to give again is something I'm not sure I'm happy doing.
