Alright guys I have a lanyard I need help with. I bought this a while back and now I want to make a few of my own to give out to a few fellow duck hunters. I will post pics of the lanyard tomorrow and if anyone has any ideas on how i would get started in making one I would greatly appreciate it.

This one is a little different than most, it has 2 drops on each side of it about mid way up that come out. plus 4 drops on the bottom. I will have pics up soon.

Looks to be a simple cobra knot (i believe) but i just havent quite figured out the extra drops in the middle, my only assumption is it was tied around 2 pieces then stopped

yep. 2 "routes" of Cobra, grabbing each other in the middle.

It's just practise mate, honestly not that hard at all. The only thing that fixed me temporarily was a monkeys fist - then I found a tutorial which made sense and it was simple.

There's loads of help online so don;t give up

Two toned noose(coil) knot lanyard/fob. I just doubled it with two different colors of paracord, trimmed/melted two of the ends, and made a lanyard knot with the other two. I left the two loops just large enough for my little finger for added retention during use.

There's some nice bits of rope round here

I need to sort a new wrist strap for my phone. The one that came with it is nice enough but not quite big enough to fit over my hand comfortably. I'll probably be boring and just go with a straight loop though.
