I've Been Eyeing The Ripple For Quite A While.
What Is Your View On It?

Nice Para2 Ash.  :tu: I Do Happen To Love My Camo/Satin Though.

Also, Got My Orange Ritter Grip. Very Nice Knife.

And Got A Buck 179 Hilo + A CRKT Notorious On Their Way To Me! Should Be Here Tomorrow Or Thursday I Presume.

Loving My Knife Collection, I've Knocked It Down A Lot. With These 2 Coming In That Will Make 21 I'm Keeping. Compare That To The 54ish I Had Before.

Love the ripple, and I have been looking for a ripple 2 in blue also, but it's sold out almost everywhere.

My newest folder is a
Kershaw Starkey Ridge
G10 scales,  ATS 34 blade.

My friend owed me and I fell in love with this (very simple design no bells or whistles) just a knife.

Didn't notice until I looked at the photo on a larger screen, but what is the wrinkling near the pivot on the blue?

Just the light exagerating the uneven finish on the blade.. nothing unusual for a Svord Peasant

Okay, I can see that now.  At first it looked like something lifting.
Very nice examples.

My last 3 folders ;

Camillus Buckmasters lockback at top , medium Cold Steel Twistmaster middle & Leatherman Crater C33.

I am a little disappointed in the Leatherman not very comfortable or smooth opening  . I had thought I was buying a flipper/blade launcher Leatherman but that is a C33L I bought a C33  :ahhh :ahhh. Live & learn  ::) ::)

Well.. I Love The Ritter But Decided I Didn't Need Two Grips And It's Just Not Going To Kick The 550HG Out Of The Pocket.
So... It's Going To A New Home.
And Soon To Be New To My Home Are....
Spyderco Manix 2 - All Black
Spyderco Resilience - This Is A Large Beast.

Do You Think They'll Settle My Itch For Big Beefy Folders?  :D

Oh And New To The Collection:
Buck 179 Hilo - This Is a Nice Solid Frame Lock.
CRKT Notorious - The Only Thing Is Which CRKT Frame Locks - Especially On The Assisted Models - Their Frame Lock Seems To Lack In Solidity And Isn't Very Tight.

It's another Ripple, but non serrated.
Also first run, which means basically nothing at all, but I will keep these in my collection, and the Ripple 2 is on the way.

It works for me, very well.  Thin, smooth action, and pretty.
It's a discontinued model and getting hard to find.  Most online knife stores are sold out, but there are a few that show in stock.  They appear on Ebay, but most are black ones.

If I had a lot of dough, I'd get one of those Chris Reeves jobs.  Can anyone talk me into that?  Is the quality that much noticeable?

I feel the same way that if I had more disposable cash, I wouldn't hesitate to get a Chris Reeve.

Would you use it or would it be a safe queen?

Must be my Spyderco Manix 2. So far the most high end folder I got.
Love the color of the steel. It was kind of hard to fold in at first then I oiled it and now it´s smoooooth.

This is my latest. It is the Spyderco Caly 3.5 Super Blue. It is a CUTTER! I have never had a blade that cut this way and was so easy to sharpen. I preemptively forced a patina on it to avoid rust...

Blade shape is different for me but I like it.

Picked this up today on a whim, Kershaw Needs Work.

This is one big folder!  Definitely not a "tactical" folder, just a big, solid work knife.  I think the wharncliffe blade is pretty neat, and the AO action is what you'd expect from Kershaw.  The liner lock holds the blade nice and solid.  I'll try it out at work tomorrow.
There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D
