Steak knife

The wife and I are trying a new restaurant and I'm having steak and eggs. They brought me a Laguiole steak knife!  Talk about a good way to start a meal! :D

Cool! A couple of months ago I was in a restaurant where they had the exact same knives. I forgot to take pictures though (or I just can't find them anymore).

I think it was in Québec or Montreal but I can't remember  But I do know it was in Canada :)

And by Québec I mean Québec City  :twak:

Montreal is a city in Quebec, so it was probably both! :D

Usually when I order a steak I just get a generic cheapo steak knife so I was really surprised when they put this one down.  The food there wasn't bad either so I'll probably be back.

I ran across this set last year.  Try as I might I could not come up with a good, spouse proof reason to buy the set.

I've been meaning to look for a decent folding steak knife to stick in my lunchbox for years... I always forget to do it though :D
If you took all the intestines out of your body and stretched them end to end... you would die.

I though that if the steak was good enough you should be able to cut it with your fork....

This is actually a full tang fixed blade made to look similar to the company's folders.
