Get on an old paddle steamer in Thun (for me the most beautiful ships in the world) and drive over both lakes to Brienz ...
Some great photos again. I've been to Thun, about 2002 if memory serves me correctly. I got the train over from Kandersteg - it was in my Scouting days - and had a wander around the town and castle. I didn't get on a paddle steamer, but I did walk up the side of the Aare from the railway station for a short while. I wish I knew which box the photos were in...
Such beautiful pictures zoidberg! I really enjoy looking at your pictures of this impressive landscape. And that's a really interesting SAK.
Beautiful pictures Peter .Looks like a great way to spend some quality father/son time. And grilled Swiss cervelat sausages... finally a ritual that I can get behind .Thanks for sharing those wonderful family moments with us my friend, I really appreciate it .
Thank you Eric! Today the work took me to the Principality of Liechtenstein.Unfortunately, I didn't have much time, but there was enough for a photo.Gutenberg Castle, Balzers LIE https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gutenberg_Castle(Image removed from quote.)

Bit more along the Craigieburn Range from the pics I posted in March.Views from Helicopter Hill 1256m.Hoping to do more trails up that way soon.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
I had a brief walk round Winckley Square today before a burger and a couple of pints. I then got a train to Burscough in West Lancashire to watch a game of non-league football. The station at that end of the town is very well looked after, although it's now a shadow of it's former self after the rail cuts of the 70s onwards.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)And a bonus 'action' shot of the football. I didn't think it was a good idea to start trying to get the PX in on any of the shots, even at that level...(Image removed from quote.)
Great pic John .I hope that, by this time next year, we are back to our normal lives (or at least more normal than now) since I'm really in need of a nice vacation, and I haven't seen a real mountain since 2018 or so... Thanks for sharing your pic here my friend .
