It's a thing with the new software. You have to be logged in for some time for the software to sort your posts and realise you have more than the 15 post minimum to enter BST. They started a new thing yesterday though, to fund the forum. You'll soon have to be at least a +1 suporter ($5 for 3 months) to be able to use the BST on EDCF.

Seldom am I out and about without a slippie on me. And even though I own hundreds of them I still carry two of my regulars.

Case Silverscript Gunboat Canoe...........

And a Case Stainless Sodbuster.........

The Sodbuster has been seeing a bit more carry than usual lately. Great lightweight EDC piece.

The slimline is easy to carry. I have a Soddie and a Hawkbill in Yellow Delrin. I think it makes for a nice looking scale.

The Case XX Silverscript is my favorite shield from them. I own quite a few but most are Large Stockmans with this shield. Here's a couple of my more recent ones.....

Case also does a "Long Tail C" Silverscript as well in a few runs, here's a few of those.......

The shields are inlayed into the bone, held by a epoxy of some sort. Case doesn't do much pinning of shields anymore. But the hold up well, never had one come out.

i dont edc it but this craftsman slip is always on my desk for opening letters, boxes, and any other cutting needs. I've had it forever. It's in well used shape..one of the blades is busted. Craftsman 9553...looks like a schrade rebrand.

Today I had a day off, and was going through a bunch of things.  I came across this Rough Rider Barlow which I hadn't carried in some time.  Stuck it in my pocket and it was my carry for the day.

I'm now trying to figure out why I hadn't used it in a while.  I like the Barlow pattern, and this is a good one.  Not the best knife in the world, but RRs are put together well and the heat treat on their blades is good.  This one takes and keeps an edge on par with my stainless Cases.  I like this little knife a lot and am going to add it into the rotation again.  If anyone reading this thread is thinking about getting a traditional to try out but doesn't want to spend the money on a Case or such, check out the Rough Riders.  They have a ton of different patterns and they're inexpensive, though they don't feel that way.  Good bang for the buck!
