Eyewear

I am looking for a new pair of shades ( weather in the UK  is very poor  >:D ) and thinking in terms of amber lens . Polycarb would be best, as they are intended  for motorcycle wear . So what are other forum members wearing ,and  what would you recommend for good contrast enhancement , and looking cool  8)  :salute: .

sorry edited to avoid causing confusion  :D.

What a coincidence- I am just researching new protective eyewear for my job!  It seems that what I am looking for is difficult to find, so I hope you have better luck!

How about these. Comes with 3 sets of lenses, clear, smoke and amber.

Thanks Millhouse , I do like those , only trouble is getting something to go with a Davida helmet (pretty snug fit ) so thinking of these .

The flex in the arms look useful and the lens tint would be good for the poor U.K summer  >:D. Has anybody else tried these ? . Cant say I am familiar with the brand , but have heard good things.

Pricey, but if you have a tight fitting helmet, may be your only choice.

A mate of mine rides a bike and is forever bending and breaking his glasses.

Know how he feels  :-[. Been through a couple of pairs myself , and old enough now  :D , to understand that you get what you pay for most of the time  :). I am also smart enough ( just ) to know I need to look after my eyes , after all my life is on the line .

Maui Jims do have very good flex frames but yeah, tend to be on the expensive side.
Another brand with good driving lenses is Serengeti.
