I like the "almost" tanto blade shape.  Looks like the big brother to my little EDC.  :)

I went hunting with my father-in-law (the Swede) who is 92.  His hunting buddies were at the cabin too (One is 95 the other 82).  They really liked the size and shape for gutting deer.  (We generally leave the hide on until it goes to butcher, just less freaking out from passersby).  It was a big hit.

Easy to clean up too!

The two old guys have been hunting that ground since 1950, when my father in law bought it!  Amazing history.  There's a mounted deer in the cabin, which was a trophy deer shot by Charles Lindbergh (He's from Little Falls, where my FIL lives).  Yea, they use 4 wheelers to get out on the trails, but they still hunt a solid 8 hours a day.

Yes, THE Charles Lindbergh.  Gordie picked up the deer at the estate sale after his death.

White tail deer in Minnesota.

My smaller EDC version of this blade (and handle) is simply fantastic.  And it holds an edge very well.  Really a work knife.

That is a beautiful knife!  A liner locking folding version of that would be really sweet too!
