We are taking a oldest and her friend too see Justin beiber tonight yes I know he's a wally but there young  well I was just thinking about edc  I was thinking about throwing my maxpedition organizer with my Ti in and leaving it in the car,and carrying my p4 or tinker  anyone been to the 02

Beiber jokes aside, I don't suggest taking anything to the concert.  Chances are security will either refuse you entry or confiscate anything you have that has a blade or might potentially be dangerous.  While I hate the TSA for that nonsense, after working in bars I have seen first hand what a Vic Classic can do on a crowded dance floor, and it isn't pretty.  The worst part is, you'll never know who did it.

On top of that there's a good chance that whatever you have with you might get taken out of your pocket or may fall out of your pocket and it'll be gone for good, so strip yourself down to the bare essentials- car keys, wallet and cell phone and put them somewhere safe like cargo pants with snaps or velcro on the pocket flaps.

i don't worry too much about what i carry on a 'normal' day, i often have for example a locking blade (much safer for hard use) and it does limit your choice of plier based multi if you rule out all locking blades ! but my 'normal' day wouldn't ever put me somewhere i 'might' get searched. i feel naked without my swisschamp, even though totally UK legal (correct me if i'm wrong) i'd leave it home if i were going anywhere in London. or anywhere alcohol might be served ! Not that you'll get much beer at a Beiber concert i wouldn't think?
as for the 'what if ?' question that's probably rattling through your head at the thought of being without a tool.... have a night off mate, let someone else mend it !

I think there's an amendment written in Section 139 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 that clearly states an SAK with a blade no longer that 3" must not be subjected to a Justin Beiber concert without good reason or lawful authority. Please don't torture a Tinker to such noise pollution 

Seriously though, you'll have to go through scanners at the entrance, so I wouldn't risk losing an  SAK to the security.

Also be prepared for a long wait in the car park once the show has finished (1.5hrs) - don't ask how I know that!!!

Surely if the rifle had a non-locking blade of less than... 

TBH I think the most I'd carry would be something like a 58mm SAK or one of those Utilikeys, *unless* I had a bag that it could be buried well at the bottom of, in which case I might throw in a bigger SAK. Definitely nothing bigger that tiny in a pocket.

That said I did manage to take my SwissTool on a tour round London last weekend, I just threw it in my bag without thinking and left it there when I left to see my friends. It did have a sleeping bag rammed on top of it though!

The only gig I've even been searched at was Lynyrd Skynyrd.Ironically it's the most chilled gig I've been to(700 odd men,and 2 women all crying to Simple Man,and Freebird).

Having said that the only EDC you'll need is a Smith and Wesson Model 29,leave the blades at home.I'd be worried about the car being broken into...
