Is it sad that I'm wondering how to make a kydex neck sheath?

You work with kydex John? I've been thinking about getting a few sheets and seeing what I can come up with myself. I am really wanting a kydex holster for my MUT. I thought I had one from eBay but the seller backed out on me. It was a level II retention holster too. Very disappointing

Never ever tried it Tel,but this might be the incentive

I got mine today, strange though, I ordered 2 Antique and 2 polished, got 1 Antique and 3 polished.
Hopefully I get the correct ones when the replacements come through.

I just got my two "wrong" coins. Thanks a lot kirky for not destroying this.

I like them both, the Antique better.
The glossy one gives a nice tactile feedback and plays with light reflections.
The antique gives contrast to the letters. The "PARATI PRO OPUS" looks very nice, although neither coin is ready to work with 4mm or 6mm hex bits. I measured 5mm with my Swisschamp's fish scales remover. So, somebody should make an interim 5mm set of hex bits, a "MTO Special" with great collective value!
It isn't a catastrophe because I don't see anyone using the coin for that (one could get a Leatherman Carabiner or a similar steel tool for such emergencies) but it is a bit silly to read 1/4" HEX DRIVER over a HEX hole that isn't 1/4" or a driver. But as we all know that is going to be fixed soon.
I look forward to my proper pair.

Sorry about that- I'll make certain that when the replacements get shipped out that you get the right ones this time.

Sounds like someone with a Gerber Balance needs to check compatibility

These don't look like coins. They remind me of Ninja stars. Even cooler.
they are heavy enough that you really wouldn't want someone to lob one at you.;)

Re the Balance bits, it's close, really close.  Just a touch of work with a needle point file and they'd go.  I have just got to remember where my small file set is.

:D  I was only joking mate :surrender:

If the only bits that will fit are the proprietary ones from a Gerber Balance, and the Balance already has two of it's own bit drivers, and no spare bits, and no option to buy the bits separately ....  ... wait for the replacements - much easier  ;)

I've given my antique one a little polish up so it's like a hybrid :D

I love the dark recessed bits but with a bit of high shine on the rest they stand out even more. Beware though, the brass colour coating is very thin so the silver shows through when you do this a bit. Looks shiny and worn, which I really like though.

And pants...

If you had the chance to get into that bartender's blouse, you'd have taken it too.  I'm just upset that it didn't work out the way I'd hoped...

But what's this?  A World first perhaps?

With just a little work the small hex does indeed fit the Gerber Balance bits. :D
