The Buck 110 and 112 were given to me by my dad. The date code for the .110. is 1974-1980, and I remember it taken along on family camping trips in the mid to late 1970's, and then I used it during a couple of years in the Boy Scouts. The blade is all scratched up from my early attempts at sharpening as a kid, when I had no idea what I was doing.
The .112.. is date coded 1980, and was given to my dad from one of his units(Army) before transferring to another unit. I also have a nice fixed blade Schrade hunting knife he was presented by another unit/transfer, in the 1980's. It seems like we moved every year or so until he retired in 1994(Lt.Col). Only moved 5 times since then, lol...
I gave the leather sheaths a good rub down with saddle soap this morning, they surely needed it.
I just bought the Mini Buck off ebay this past year, and it's a nice little folder for around $10, and made in the USA.

Buck TOPS CSAR - ATS-34 (154CM), big, heavy, solid. I carry it everyday, and I wear a suit.

I got this Buck 112 ecolite a few days ago. The edges of the handle where a little sharp, but 5mins with a pice of sand paper fixed that. It a very good knife for the money.
