The thing about Donation Draws is that the odds are pretty good. There are usually only about twenty five entries, which means your odds are one in 25, rather than the 1 in 100 or so that other giveaways run. Plus, you can easily increase those odds by donating a bit more cash- $20 drops the odds to about one in 12, $30 drops the odds to one in 8.

Heck, Terry has won twice since the odds are so good!

thanks for the info, I know the odds are good, but if I focus on that I am going to be disappointed almost every month.

(mentally prepared to lose, but win is better than mentally prepared to win, and lose)

What I do like is how it is only the 8th of this month and you are at 47% on operational funds.

I was being 100% honest when I said this place deserves money. I would give when I could because I love it here. the drawing is just icing on the cake.

Yep the odds are pretty good! I've honestly only over won three things in my life, and they've all been from here, one being a donation draw. If it wasn't for MTO, I'd still be on a losing streak and not be part of a no life club.

Seriously, I avoided the idea of a Donation button for the longest time because I hate the idea of taking people's money. I figured this was at least a decent way for folks to get something back for their hard earned money.

I can speak from experience that if you donate you will win one day. The only thing to kill the odds is not donating. A Pulse and Rebar later, here I am. I seriously don't do it for the draw prize. Places like this take money to run and it's way better than Facebook IMO.

Of course we also aren't fill of pre teen girls who keep posting duck face photos, so I guess we have that going for us.
