Benchmade has a service where if you send in a knife that you've purchased they will switch out the blade for a fee, as long as they have it in stock.

I would contact them first, though.

jeki has a good idea. I know that Grip, I've seen them before and someone at Blade Show this year had one. It's a nice piece, but not worth the money in my opinion just because of the handle pattern. I actually had the hollow ground Griptilian with the thumb hole before, in plain edge. It's a great knife, and if I were you, I'd just custom order one from Benchmade's website. There at least, you can pick a handle color and whether or not you want serrations.

Most limited run knives are offered in one configuration, and that's pretty much it for that run. Personally, I also don't like combo edges.
