I have a couple of the Farmers coming in to me... or at least I think I still am.  My box hasn't been scanned since two days ago and is going to be at least two days late, now.  I don't know if the post office has lost it or what. :/

If it is lost, at least I should theoretically be covered by my credit card, no?

Hey Rex! it's good to see you again. As for that being covered on your card, I don't know for certain but I would think not. Let us know how it turns out for ya.

Tracking finally updated this morning.  Instead of being sent to Hickory, it was sent to the Asheville sorting facility.  Normally I'd not care about a late package, but I got several items from there, including a couple Farmers, so I don't want to be out a chunk of cash simply because the package fails to arrive. :/

Gotta love the one large order I've placed in a while, sent out via 2-day Priority, taking at least five days and a detour.

Just looked at the Orange Farmers again and they updated the SOLD OUT listing to "1ST BATCH SOLD OUT"


They might drop some more Orange Farmers if anyone didn't get one. Keep a eye out for those who are interested.

Update:  And now sent from Asheville to Charlotte, and now back at Greensboro again.  Where it'll be sent next, smurf if I know.  Estimated delivery date is still 4-14 though.

Maybe you should have sent it to me to forward it back to you. I get packages from the US in 7 days via USPS First class.

It really amazes me how they can be so bad locally while providing excellent international service for a lower cost.

Yeah...I still haven't gotten a package that my Kershaw dealer sent me over a week ago. My first package of orange Farmers got here in three days, the other (also Priority) took like a week. I've been playing escrow/forwarder for a few folks, and it was awkward having to wait on a package that was days late.

I have found the ONLY way to ensure that a USPS package gets anywhere is to insure it.   There's NO WAY USPS is willing to lose money on shipping, so I suspect those packages get handled differently.  (The cynic in me believes that USPS workers are more likely to pilfer an uninsured package, since the USPS is less likely to spend extra money investigating a lost uninsured package.)

I agree. Sadly even if insured they will screw you if they do lose it. When I was at the post office last I asked about there insurance policies and was informed if you insure a package and it gets lost you have to either have a receipt for the item and prove what was in there or have a appraisal and prove what was in there.      Uhhh how the smurf am I supposed to prove what was in the package.  Not sure if it's true, but that's what they tell me.

If there are PM's of the transaction, that's proof enough. Amazon receipt, paypal receipt.  Lots of ways to skin that cat.

I use Stamps.Com now, and they have their own insurance system. I've used it once, and it was much much easier and more reasonable than what USPS offers.

Haven't posted mine yet!  I love how they shipped candy with the knife.  Love this SAK and the color is outrageously beautiful.  These two make a great color coordinated carry.

My package finally arrived today.  I really wish they would've sent it in a small flatrate box instead of a bubble mailer; both of my boxes are a bit squished, though I've not yet opened them. :/
