A new acquisition for this Wenger Wednesday (even if it's Thursday here now)

A rather interesting M1951 Soldier based knife with Wengerinox tang stamp and a 62 date stamped blade.
Some overlap with the M1961 Alox Soldier perhaps?

Unfortunately this knife has suffered a broken awl, but there is hope for it yet. I have another M1951 with a snapped off blade so that may become a donor. The other alternative is a custom built awl.
Whichever way, it shall rise again.







Last pic is alongside a larger M1908 Wengerinox.
