Kari, Tory and Grant have been an incredibly important part of MythBusters for over a decade. From explosions to car crashes to even more explosions, this trio has helped shape MythBusters into the Emmy-nominated series it is today. We want to thank them for their tireless work busting almost 1000 myths, and wish them all the best.

I only watched it for Kari.     Well, and the explosions, and MT sightings.  I really do hope they get their own show.  I always prefered the stuff they did, or at least the way they went about doing it.

Those 3 worked their arses off for a decade only to have a big giant corporate sh%t taken on their heads. Pay attention folks, this is what hard work gets ya in this country!!!

I like the show better when they where the build team and worked with Adam and Jamie. When they started having Adam and Jamie do this myth and Grant, kari and Tory do that myth, I did not like the show nearly as well. That said, this is some BULL smurf! The way they sent them off like that. That is not right.

A Junior Mythbuster show. Seems more likely for them to get their own show.

AFAIK, there hasn't been any explanation as to why they are no longer part of the team? For all we know, they might wanted to do something for themselves instead.
Not that I don't agree, the little people often gets sh%t on by the big corporations, but we don't really know what happened here yet.

Well the show has gone in a downward spiral for the last few years. Mind you, the main problem these days...its attached to the Discovery Station. That and the History Station are nothing like they used to be.

What bothers me about the show is that they have become too successful. I liked how they had trouble in the beginning finding things to experiment with and places to do it at.  Now instead of building all of their equipment they just say "and here we are as NASA to use their wind tunnel. .."  I miss the old days when they built a large wooden bath tub with a plexiglass side and dropped a boat motor in to make a wind tunnel.

I still watch the show, but the last couple seasons lost some pizzazz for me.  Just didnt feel like the same show, but that also could be since they've already done most of the good myths, and now mostly recreate stuff in movies, which arent myths.

With these cast members gone the show has even less appeal to me.

This is just wrong, what the producers don't understand is half the viewers watched the show do to the three and by ditching them there going to loose the viewers! And to top that off if there going to keep the show going with only Adam an Jamie, and with loosing all the viewers there going to end up ditching the whole show.. Unless that's what the producers had in mind, just give Jamie and Adam a extra year? Still this is just BS,, JR

Like others here I preferred when they worked with Adam and Jamie instead of separately... but I guess having them do their own thing made more sense for the US commercial format.

I actually thought that she had probably had one dumped on her at some point during mythbusters in the past, and probably was in no rush to repeat that experience. In any case, the idea is to donate more money if you don't do the challenge right?

sometimes i'm glad to see a show end on a positive note or just ended suddenly without contract renewals.
