Nah I am out of this because the mail here is at best very unreliable at worst it is something out of a Stephen King novel. Thanks for the offer though.

Like where am I based out of the states or where am I in Afghanistan?

We are out of Fort Hood in Texas and currently in southern Afghanistan.

Been deployed to various combat zones over my 19 years of doing this but never have I seen it as bad as it is here. My first deployment to Iraq we barely had food and water but the mail would get to us in just over a week like clockwork.

Not sure what the problem is with this time around.

Had that happen once. It ended up in Korea (KR) instead of Croatia (HR). :ahhh

Had that happen once. It ended up in Korea (KR) instead of Croatia (HR). :ahhh

So annoying, once sent a package to York, GB. Paid international fee and got it returned that there is no York in canton Graubünden (GB, Switzerland) :think:

Sad thing is, the computer should know better. I mean it should notice that country-zip code-city don't match up. Considering what we pay for the postal-service IT-infrastructure I would expect that it could do this simple trick.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.
