Its a kin to "testing" anything to its point of failure. Like blowing smurf up, do we expect the item to survive? No, we just like watching explosions. No intellectual guidance needed for me. At least that's my take on it.I maybe a sick puppy .

If it was a test of how much cutting force it could apply before failing, I'd understand. Maybe if it was how hard a material it could cut. If anyone likes this kind of stuff, that's fine. It just seems utterly pointless to me Again, no offense to anyone anywhere
I'm not impressed and I don't feel these tests are really necessary. While I appreciate a knife in certain situations that's not going to close up on my fingers, most locks are more than adequate for my uses.
Why doesn't someone do real tests like cutting hanging pieces of meat.
/sarcasm on oh yes, hang big pieces and see how the knives slash and hack them. /sarcasm off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Something is not right. If the "new" Sebenzas lock can be defeated by 45 pounds force I would be able to defeat the lock by hand correct? Something seems fishy.

What has been discussed is the CS triad lock was designed for this particular lock test and most other locks are not ( someone will correct me I'm sure ). So this "test" in no way ( more knowledgeable knife people's opinions ) takes away from the Sebenza frame lock.I wont begin to portray myself as a knowledgeable knife person so all my info has come as a result of whats being discussed.
