Vic definitely don't need to replace the classic SAK line. But offer an alternate line of these updated "Boker-beaterz" for the tacti-cool/mall-ninja crowd.
Quick! How do I get elected king of Switzerland?
There is another…Emerson EDC-2, 440C steel, G10 handles, and with take-down screws. Also offering less utility than a Tinker, while costing six times as much.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Emerson-Knives-Multitasker-EDC-2-Multitool-PlainEdge-OD-Green-G10-Dealer/351371820329?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131003132420%26meid%3D65b3dcbb51a6484cb6cea1512447f376%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D201336567946
Recurve in a blade is a dealbreaker for me. It is something has saved a lot of money for me. (I have many pet peeves with knives. I have more knives than I need, so of course I am picky if I consider buying more.)

Plan B: 1. Get elected POTUS. 2. Deliver some freedom to Switzerland (the 'Murican kind). 3. Declare the former Switzerland the 51st state and rename it Barry Switzer Land. 4. Institute my changes at Victorinox Easy You know how us Americans can be.Jk, of courseQuote from: captain spaulding on February 02, 2016, 09:07:55 PMQuote from: Steinar on February 02, 2016, 09:02:46 PMRecurve in a blade is a dealbreaker for me. Supposed to be better for piercing. How so? Stronger tip. Compared to what? Wouldn't a sheepsfoot be just as strong?Someone please enlighten me? I am genuinely interested, especially since I recently acquired a Tanto M16.
Oh, and btw, the actual tanto knife does not have a “tanto blade”. The westernized tanto is a smurfization where put the geometry inspired by a sword on a knife. A traditional tanto is a very basic and good design.
