The Benchmade / H&K Axis is my absolute favorite carry knife of everything I own, but they only offer it with black coating which I hate. After two years of using it I can not stand it any longer, take the knife a part and start sanding it down. Six hours late, the knife has a complete new look. The thumb studs are impossible to sand down nicely so I installed a set of studs of my Cold Steel Finn Wolf.

Did you do the pocket clip too?
