Thanks Poncho!
23/30 I think you can see the patina better in this one. I'll do close ups at some point.
Got a package today from Dean51 When I opened it there was a surprise Thank you Dean for a very generous GAW of not one but two sweet knives
I found this 301 in the rocks down by the river, 5 - 6 years ago or there about. It looked like one bolster had hit the rocks. It had to much blade play and the clip rubbed the inside of bolster when opening. I put in in the tool box with the utility knives & forgot about it.All this pocket knife talk I decided to take it out and try a repair on it. I cleaned up the inside of the bolster where the rock dented it so the clip would close smoothly again. Got the pins peened to remove the remove the blade play. Then smoothed it out and gave the bolsters a 2000 wet/dry satin finish.I had to put a hone to the inside of the spey blade to remove a bit of blade rub it had. Damage from the rock, I would guess. It works nice and smooth now so I think I can put it back & forget about it again.

The knife was posted earlier, quote from the post.QuoteI found this 301 in the rocks down by the river, 5 - 6 years ago or there about. It looked like one bolster had hit the rocks. Now, the big question - with all those lovely H&R's, when are you gonna go for your badge Poncho?

27/30 a traditional pocket knife is so easy to take everywhere. This ones in nature today. As well as performing edc tasks, it also poses for photos and glam shots
