Opinel No. 6 again.  Used it to cut up an apple as a snack from one of the many apple trees in the yard.

A good way to build up the patina if it's a carbon blade. :) I think I'll carry an Opinel tomorrow......

I've been really busy lately, but I've carried the gec 15 everyday. Today I got A British army knife that I'll probably carry for a while.

Sorted the edge on my cheapo sodbuster yesterday - took ages, even with the Lansky coarse stone and a 400 grit diamond plate. Finished it on the fine ceramic rods from my turn box, now it's super sharp. So that's what I'll have on me today:

This Portugeese traditional slippie by Ciol today.
It is no beauty, but it cuts like a dream, has a firm backspring, no blade play, takes a wicked edge and throws good sparks from a firesteel with its 90degree spine.
A bargain for €12 :)
