Though I'm not going to any Christmas parties, this one would be appropriate for them.

Merry Christmas Farmer🌹

At my daughter’s, since Saturday afternoon.  Cold yet! And coffee warm…

One of the 3 that I selected for my visit.

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Merry Christmas Adam!!!

That is some sturdy picnic table to support the weight of those colorful sod busters/work knifes.

Very nice accumulation!

As Sunday, Christmas Day is winding down, I have returned home and preparing to clean blades of the tape residue and finger prints.
Was able to spend Christmas Eve and morning with #1 daughter, and afternoon with second oldest son and their families.

At each, first tape box, came the question, “gotta knife?”

Two grandson’s (#5 and #6) (young teens) loved their Special Hikers! And one definitely is now eyeing my Case Tribal Lock now.  And each were surprised by the age of the Buck Stockman and I was surprised they recalled “bolster rivets and long pull” terms. And “flat grind” 😀

The grandkids will have some wonderful fun with those knives.  I'm not surprised the Tribal lock got ogled.  Its a beauty and a great knife, I have one too.  Cool they recalled terminology.  Its fun our love of sharp things is absorbed by the younger generation.  Well done LC.

That trio served well today.  Great choices for what sounds like a terrific day.

Awesome collection of soddies!    :tu:

Thank you, David

It may be awesome in quantity, but not so much in quality. I will say though that some of those cheaper soddies are fine users, such the Imperials and the Rough Riders.

I had a great day at my brothers yesterday. I was pretty happy when I heard that both of my nieces ( both in their twenties ) asked for knives for Xmas. One wanted an EDC type traditional and the other wanted a fixed blade for carving.

I gave one a older Buck 501 that I had. I polished the brushed bolsters and also the blade on it. For the Carving knife I got a Ukrainian made Beaver Craft.

Very good selections for your nieces.

The 501 is darn near the perfect knife to fit the EDC role and the Rose wood handles make that a beauty!

Great job UNCLE Steve, so sorry my wish list did not reach you in time this year
