Went with my Tony Bose and Pemberton.

Pic clearly not taken by me.  Catherine was kind enough to snap it for me.

Nice pick FX.  I was just watching something on the TL29 last night on you tube.  I passed on these style knives for so long I'm sad to say.  Now of course I rarely see them.  When I do they are so beat to within inches of their lives I have to pass.

I did score 2 that required me to bring them home.  One is from 67' its a Klein and sons, and the other Xcelite.  I have a Rough Rider but I cannot seem to locate it these days.

One other neat one I have is also a Klein etched with Midland Electric on the blade.

Ok I've had my second cup of coffee and I've chosen my cutlery for today.

I was late to Case knives tho I have known about them.  I'm a fan to say the least.

Tribal lock, Sowbelly, Copperhead mini.

I use my Tribal lock as my food knife.  I use my Sowbelly as my go to for all things.  The little fella is used like a 58mm SAK for things that really don't require a large knife.

Not that I need any convincing to carry multiple Trads.

After serious deliberation, I selected two useful tools that are within my comfort zone.
First is a older Camillus built Buck 301 Stockman.
Second is a never carried before Tribal Lock in Blue/Black Basket Weave.
These two will be paired with my Vagabond for the entire weekend as I plan to travel to daughter’s  home on other side of county. (40miles)

And, TO AWL!  Warm Holiday Wishes.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Thanks, y'awl, and some excellent choices for today! :like:

When I do they are so beat to within inches of their lives I have to pass.
I know that firsthand. One of mine was so badly beaten that it had to go off to a knife mechanic. It's now best suited to show on Monday. But you can still find good ones at reasonable prices. I make sure I have a good view of the bail before I buy.
