 And I think you're right about the vintage. I confirmed that when I got mine in hand.

:hatsoff: to awl for the kind words, and some great carries yourselves! :tu:

It's a Camillus kinda day for me. I should carry the 99 a little more than I do, but the 27 will be seeing much more pocket time.

The 27 is probably my favorite knife  :tu:

Besides my CV Sod Buster, this Utica EE spear is a handy knife for so many simple tasks.  I leave it downstairs for that purpose. 😉

New A.Wright Senator.  Most of these I've seen have "premium" covers and file worked backsprings, but this one is plain.  Needs a sharpen but other than that seems well put together.

Does 4 count as a "collection"?  Top to Bottom; Spearpoint, Sheepsfoot, Lambsfoot and Senator.

Another wickedly strong backspring on this one BTW.  None of my Wright knives are in any way light, but this Senator and my Sheepsfoot are the toughest springs I own by quite a margin.

Most benefit from an easing over of the tang which can take a pull of 8 down a couple .

Senator looks nice Gareth. Nice set of A Wright knives. I've had to give several of mine the Dean treatment for tough springs. I have a bog oak covered Senator sitting in Chicago waiting to be delivered.

LC, is that an Amber Bone large stockman? I’ve ordered one in carbon steel from a local Case dealer and would love to see a few more photos of it opened up.

Cleaning up this H. Dorwal pen knife so it is riding around in my pocket. The main blade is in decent shape but the small blade had the tip broken off. I reshaped it and got the tip back below the liners. Cleaned and lubed it is operating properly with decent snap. Not sure how far I should go cleaning up the blades. They are sharpened but i have left the patina alone other then what may have come off when I degunked.
