Politically incorrect post:

In situations where it is supossed you can carry anything dangerous, what you carry?

In my country in sites like clubbing-dinner-cinema (mainly at night) where there is high concentration of people and is less justifiable to carry dangerous objects

Me, for example:

- Wallet
- Mobile phone
- Keychain with True Utility Pen + NiteCore Tube + LM PS4 (or Victorinox Executive + Slim Juice)
- Watch
- Small shoulder bag for handkerchiefs, higienic towels, comb, asthma inhaler...

And you?

Where I live its not less dangerous around more people.

I still carry a weapon along with a cutting tool and some basic utility tools.

Probably a slim traditional slipjoint.
I never carry anything big anyway. If I need to do heavy cutting I will have a fixed blade, like a Mora.

I carry my Espada daily regardless, but no way night clubs would allow that.
Doesn't matter, I haven't been in a night club since my high school days.

I always carry the same EDC. Sometimes I'm in a suit (in the Opera or the Music Megaron) and I only carry my car's keys, with Spyderco Ladybug, Victorinox Minichamp and now Squirt P4.
I felt threatened just once, 10 years ago, by a young brat, for a parking position. When I lifted my fist holding my full amount of keys he retreated immediately.
Weapon carrying isn't usual in Greece. When they'll have a weapon it will be likely a AK47, so a 9mm or a tactical knife won't do you much good.

Here you'll get searched when entering a cinema but not when you're entering a night club. Mostly because the cinema chain is looking to profit on snacks and drinks so they don't want you to bring your own. A small SAK and MTs pass without issues.

Now when it comes to clubs, bars, pubs or anything of the sorts, people get in with all sorts of things. Chances are that if you carry something visible (cliped or bulky) it will need to stay in your car, in your jacket which is checked in or at the desk in the warderobe check in (unless they have a bouncer room). The things that have to stay on the desk tend to go missing. Your average SAK like a Farmer or a Spartan mostly won't cause anyone to bat an eye, unless the cops show up. Then you'll have some explaining to do.

Personally, dinner, cinema, theatre and the sorts are scaled to the class of the place. If it's a casual place then that day's edc will be fine, if it's a nicer place then it's usually Bantam or Classic.
Clubs depend a lot on where I'm going. More mainstream - Classic, more alternative - Pioneer or Farmer. This is due to the disappearing factor and if the police shows up it's easier to explain since they are expecting a certain type of crowd. Might be bs but apparently bikers open beers with knives so it's ok

Here in Canada most bars won't mind you carrying a SAK, multitool, folding or fixed blade knife, nor will they check you for them.   By "bars" I mean places where you go in, sit down and have a casual drink, conversation and maybe some food.  These places aren't going to search anyone because they don't really have to, as very few people cause problems in these kinds of places.

Clubs on the other hand, the kinds of places where mostly younger, well dressed kids go to get intoxicated and fling themselves around to the barely recognizable, overly loud and overemphasized beat, you are almost certainly going to be searched and even your Classic won't be allowed in.  I know, I was the guy doing the searches and running the medical detectors for years.

But, I have no interest in going to those places u less they pay me to be there.  If they do, I will carry whatever the heck I want, but usually that's a multitool and/or SAK for fixing equipment, a flashlight for a variety of reasons and a pair of handcuffs to deal with whomever decides they don't like behaving properly.

Actually the flashlight might be the single most important thing to have in those places. Can't tell you how many times someone has lost something and then it was a pain in the smurf to find it

Yeah, strobe lights make it impossible to find anything you (or anyone else) may have dropped.  For most of my career working the door at bars I swore by a Gerber Infinity Ultra. It was the right size and not too bright.  In fact, it is probably the light that I compare every other light to.

My Vic OH Soldier is almost always in my pocket from going out on a bike ride to weddings to going grocery shopping.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

The cases where I actively choose to carry less than usual, I carry an alox MiniChamp, but that's rarely the case. As many others here, I have little interest in the places frequented by the kind of people you can't trust with sharp objects. Some food, a couple of beers and quiet enough for conversation is what I go for. Clubbing is something you do to seals. ;)

The same as always, meaning Pioneer and alox Rambler if I don't have my bag with me -which is rare because I have become averse to stuffing stuff into my pockets, like cell phone, wallet, wet wipes, Vic Handyman, Spirit, and other stuff I carry in said bag. Truth be told I don't go to a lot of bars lately and clubbing never appealed to me.

Oh, and

Clubbing is something you do to seals. ;)

It's not really EDC if it's just for special occasions.

But to answer your question, I just carry the classic on my keys.

Date night with the wife last night saw me with with a yellow Classic and CRKT Minimalist, which is fairly standard for me lately. Granted, movies and dinner, back by 730pm, isn't terribly exciting, but there it is. When I went to bars and the occasional nightclub in college, twelve years ago, I just had phone, wallet, keys. Didn't carry much of interest in those days.
