Knives you haven't bought......yet.

OK, so we can't all just buy anything that catches the eye straight away, but we can all dream and make plans. :dd:

I'll kick things off with this neat version of the Boker Tech Tool-1

http://www.heinnie.com/heinnie-haynes-boker-plus-tech-tool-1

If I didn't already own a black version of the same knife I'd buy this in a heartbeat, but I struggle buying the same thing with just cosmetic deferences.  :-\

I'm with you on buying the same item with color differences. My not so near future knife purchase is the Benchmade 940-1

I was gifted one of the black ones by Beat (thank you again my friend  :salute:) which since arriving has had a lot of pocket time. Whilst the red one looks nice, I actually prefer the black.

This knife aside, I don't think I have anything on my wishlist, which to be perfectly honest after years of purchasing a myriad of knives and tools, is actually a very nice feeling.

The only thing I keep considering, but not actually buying (yet ;)) is a Joseph Rodgers Pipe Smokers Knife

Well, I like the look of the Fox Knives Parang... but I hardly ever carry a fixed blade and the sheath is ugly. So, right now I'm flirting with its silly little brother. The Aruru, a tiny folding machete :D

I did honestly have to do some mental justification to buy my Red Shield Black Pioneer when I already owned a Wenger SI.  However, the lack of a bail means it's not the same knife and, very importantly, the red on black is just gorgeous. :dd:

One day I have more money than sense, a Mnandi with bog oak inlays may find its way to me. I have a really hard time justifying buying one, but as Gareth said, one may dream. :)

I would love to have my paws on those classic SOG bowie fixed blades, but I generally like folders better. There are variations of four models in my wish list:

- Tomcat: want Tomcat II
- Stingray: want Stingray Cocobolo
- Arcitech: want the jigged bone and damascus
- Fatcat

Yeah, I want expensive toys

One of these days I'll finally get myself a Buck Master...

And a Cold Steel Magnum Tanto X!!...

And a Boker Applegate Fairbairn Combat Knife....

There are more..... lots more, but if I had to pick three at the top of my dream list that would be them.

If it's dream knives then the Rockstead UN ZDP is at the top of my list, but I'm not going to drop £3k on a knife anytime soon (ever).

Had I answered when first asked my answer would have been different than now.  What I'm saying is my tastes continue to evolve so I alway pause before pulling the trigger on most if not all purchases of "want" items.

I wanted an Esee knife for longer than I could recall.  I also wanted a BM 940 but didn't pull the trigger on that one either.

Now I've been wanting a Bark River or LT Wright.  Next month we shall see.  Guess the thing with me is I'm pretty satisfied and its hard to reason with myself that I need anything.

Swiss Bianco green alox Carver. It costs nearly three times as much as a plain Harvester and that's what's holding me back.

I have a soft spot for value knives; so cool that Spyderco are releasing this design as a small budget folder made in the other Taiwan factory instead of going over the top with high end steel. This is a sub $50 EDC knife that is going to absolutely kill it in the markets.
I will order one for sure.

BD-1 Steel , lovely little 2.35 inch baby knife with compression lock.

While the looks aren't my taste there's no doubt that's a lot of quality knife for the money.
