I always use my Leathermans as hammers always have.  PST's and OG ST work great    :tu:

And why I have always been so protective of it.  There is a lot of information here that isn't available anywhere else, so when it's gone from here it's probably gone forever.   :ahhh

I seem to recall a hammer ad on to a Wave, and I sort of vaguely recall something like that discussed here long ago, but I have to say this one is beyond me.

The only tool resembling a Wave that I am aware of is the Russian Army's Kampo HC-2.  But I don't think that's got a hammer.

It only somewhat resembles the Wave , the knife and saw are very similiar.

Yeah, that's a fun thread to re-read every now and then.  It's also interesting to note that I have been making that challenge publicly for over a decade now and Taylor has yet to take me up on it, which means, at least in my estimation that they know their stuff is crap and don't feel the need to advertise that by offering one up for legitimate testing.  Or, they are the one multitool manufacturer in the world that doesn't know about and follow what goes on here at MTO.

Either way, if they are that oblivious or in denial, then I really don't want a tool from them, because they are obviously not the kind of people that pay any attention to the world around them, so how can they manufacture even a halfways decent product?

Mr. Taylor, if you are reading this, my offer to legitimately test any tool in your lineup still stands.  And, folks here will happily point out all of the times I have admitted I was wrong, and I have no issues doing it again, if any tool in your lineup passes muster.  Please feel free to contact me at grant@multitool.org with any comments, questions or concerns you may have.
