Thank you Oxford and magentus, I did find the Woodsman from the seller in Quebec.
I have two in route, one to use, one to keep.  I decided on standard red instead of ruby red.  The ruby red is beautiful I must admit, but I'm partial to the standard red.

Which seller in Quebec is this, and does he still have any?

Yes, he still has stock of the standard and ruby red.  Link to standard red:

You're going to love them Folder!  I packed mine a couple days ago and it has everything I could ask for.  I would have gone with the standard red too, but the ruby was what was up for bid at the time.  I figured I could always change out the scales later on.  Post pics when they come in!!

I don't own a SAK yet that has that file material on the backside of the parcel hook.
Would it work for a finger nail file or is it for starting fires?  Or other purpose?

It works, just about, as a finger nail file, but is not aggressive enough for much else. It's better than nothing I guess.

It does also work as a striker for non-safety matches.

That's almost exactly what my Japanese market Master Craftsman I just got cost (although that's including postage)... Am tempted, though!

Can't wait!  Pics for certain....at least of one of them, the other will stay nestled in its package...silly collector mentality I have.

Oxford, I'm tempted to get one of those Japanese versions of the shuttle, but my monthly budget is shot!

shibafu, thank you for the tip about the matches.

The seller will send you an email in a day or two letting you know when he shipped your knife.  He is pretty quick about getting them shipped out and the delivery time is fairly fast.

Thanks Barry, he seemed like he would be efficient, promised to get them in route today.
Ultimately I'm going to try this Yeoman with Camper front scale, affectionately called Yeoper for now, but if I miss the saw too much I'll likely switch my Camper front scale onto the Woodsman that will be in route:

The Yeoper:

I can't think of a better knife for those scales but a Woodsman.

This online shop in Mexico still seems to be selling them for 850 pesos (about $41.60), but it looks like it will only sell to addresses in Spain or Mexico :-(

Good price, I don't need any more, but anyone looking might want to inquire if he/she ships to other areas.

I'd buy at that price, but my Spanish is useless...

I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier but the Madly Outdoorsman is another Explorer with a saw.  The biggest difference between it and the Woodsman that I can see is the fish scaler but that really doesn't make much of a difference thickness wise.  Most can be had hardly used and at a pretty reasonable price on Eprey.

Yes, I just put it next to my Huntsman and this mod of mine sits just a smidge taller.  Looking at them at a glance I wouldn't know which was which.
