Nice Barlows Kevin    :like: :tu:

How is the fit and finish on those ? I've heard that it is hit or miss on the quality of the Wright and Sons.

Thank you

The fit is great & build quality is good, but they need a clean. There's debris inside that needs cleaning out. They are new but the last of old stock so who knows how long they've been sat. They were dirt cheap and it looks like some has got inside  :D

It's only the best pocket light ever! A Lumintop Tool made of titanium so it's nice and light. Has a Nichia LED so the light looks nice and natural, not that blue-purple that a lot of LEDs have. I love it. AAA battery with 3 brightness modes.

Nix, if you Google search "Lumintop Tool Ti Nichia" you should be able to find several vendors. They're about $30 I think.

Thanks, Steve! It's just a bad cold. We went out to a Mexican restaurant for supper and I had a spicy chorizo chicken dish and washed it down with a margarita. That helped :)

Day 7

Fitted some wire hooks to the back of my biggest fan so he wouldn't step on the cable when moved.

Day 07:

I went ice fishing today. Every fishing trip should feature a multitool, and the Spirit did well today. I used it for everything from crimping split shot to removing hooks.

Conditions were pretty good, if perhaps a bit windy.

We augured a couple holes and jigged spoons off the bottom.

Ended up keeping two lovely perch and putting a few other small ones back to savor another day.

Tomorrow's breakfast is looking pretty good......

Awsome pics and work so far! Can't wait until the 10th when it starts for me.

Just wondering.. How are you all carrying the spirit?

I tried loose in the pocket and that don't work in my new pants.. Then I tried with pocket clip but that was not really my thing.. So now I'm going with the original beltsheat, but that's not optimal either (Mr negativ here ) enyone tried horizontal carry on the belt?

[It's not failure if you learn something from it]

Carry mine loose in front pocket, vertically. I hardly know it's there until I need it. I section off a part of the pocket with a safety pin to keep it upright. I have tried pouches, clips, and danglers, but none of that works for me.  :salute:

If my Spirit had a clip like Hiraethus' custom one, I would probably rethink the clip carry!  :dd:

if you're on a budget (which I really doubt  :D) the Lumintop AAA in normal version (non Titanium) is also very good and affordable.
They make excellent gifts! I've given away 3 of them this last Christmas. The one below is my go-to EDC light :tu:

Day 7: Spirit opening a calendar wrapping for my mother's fridge. These women's magazines always come with calendars on January  :ahhh

kottskrapa, I've been using the belt sheath for the most part. While a bit big, I find I can carry it in the front pocket of my jeans as well. I might try try twiliter's safety pin trick though.  :tu:

I'm carrying mine in my Skinth nowadays.
It rides very low on the belt.
That combined with the slim design makes me barely notice it's there.
Even though there's also a telescopic pen, Topeak ratchet, 11 bits in holder and Olight I3E EOS inside.
