Day 9 of 30

This challenge is moving on pretty quickly  I took this pic while feeling very cold :ahhh :D I think my truck read -1 degrees F on my way to work couple miles from the house this morning :o I seriously thought about turning around and going back to the warm bed  but it ended up a balmy 9 degrees by the time we got there and up to low 20's by the time we left  Still cold to me ::) Anyways I took this pic after I got to my parents house today on the way home from work :salute:

It's a Bigidesign Ti Pocket Pro. Fantastic EDC pen; I can't find a thing wrong with it even to nitpick.

Thanks, I’ll check it out.

Day 7

Working in the garden today. Used the spirit to trim off a few branches off a holly tree that refuses to die to have a test of the saw. Then chopped the tree down again. It's now drilled and filled with stump killer and copper nailed. smurfing thing

The burnished look (XBS) is more shinier than the BO though...

A big :salute: and  :tu: to Douglas.
I would probably not have joined if you hadn't suggested it.
Enjoying it very much so far. I'd been babying my Spirit, but I am loving it.  :like:

:like: Thanks glad to hear such things.  The Spirit truly is a wonderful tool and sized just right for most.  It's big brother is basically the same but on steroids, making it too bulky for many.  I tend to gravitate more to the bulk of the Swisstool as it means a little beefier/ robust individual tools so I don't find the need to baby it as much.  The proof of what happened when I didn't, is here https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,75237.msg1610366.html#msg1610366:facepalm: Trying not to Pablo this one is the reason this is going to be such a challenge for me.

Day 9: Used chisel and phillips SD to adjust the locking plate on a door frame. The chisel is a very versatile  tool, it’d be great to see that on a SAK.

+1 Would like to see this tool on a 91/93mm SAK too! I wonder if Syph could do a Titanium one?

Day 10

Didn't get a picture of it but used the chisel to chip some ice off of the inside of my sliding door so I could get it open. With the subzero temps we've had there was a lot of ice from condensation freezing on the inside of the door and track.

With you guys talking about the Spirit chisel, I thought I would throw in  my two cents worth on the topic.  I have found it to be one of the best designded tools of any multitool.  Tha blade angle is perfect and the sharpened corner just makes it better.  The multi-function cable/ wire strippers are also perfectly sized and shaped.  How could anyone ask for better.  Now if Vic would just improve the scissors on the Spirit.

So they put the 91mm scissors in the Swisstool but decided to design some smurfy scissors for the Spirit. Seems like they could have just brought back the 84mm scissors for the Spirit and could have reintroduced some 84mm scissor model SAK's....that would have been a win win   :tu:

I tried to hate the Spirit scissors too at first, but now I actually like them.

They are really good at finish cuts for the wire cutters.

Day 8

Packing away all the Xmas decorations into their storage boxes until next year so took all the batteries out of the ones that have them. Needed a smaller driver than the Vic Phillips so got the LM  adapter and flat bit out.
